This recipe is inspired by Alison Roman's recipe for tomato tart topped with garlic and capers. It's a great way to take fresh summer tomatoes from the farmer's market that are less than perfect on the outside. This tart also included some tomatoes grown in our home garden, supplemented with tomatoes from the local farmer's market.
